Bad Hair Day

Sharing is caring!
Forgive my laziness to sum up the remaining information regarding my Penang Trip T^T There were too many pictures and I am lazy to upload it especially about the Penang Hawker Stall one. I know they are important since everyone is finding delicious yet cheap food right? But I need so much of ideas to arrange the post nicely. I mean PERFECTLY for you guys easy to read, a very reader-friendly post. SO PLEASE JUST STAY CLOSE WITH MY BLOGGIE.

But today I am gonna share some knowledge to you guys from a nutrition book which I found useful to everyone of us! Especially girls out there. This is important issue since I am facing terribly skin problem :( Skin is the largest organ in our body but also the largest exposed area under the sun! The ravages of UV from the sun causes so many skin problems that is the most headache to deal with. So what we gonna do to protect our skin with very limited expenses? Consume nutrients will do!!

There are two types of vitamins, fat-soluble and water-soluble. Different categories of vitamins have different intake time which is the best absorption period to increase the vitamin efficacy itself! For the Fat-Soluble Vitamins like Vitamin A, D and E, they could only be dissolved in fat hence they are suitable being taken after lunch or dinner. They are hardly to be excreted out from our body as well so we do encourage divide 3 times daily for the intake of fat-soluble vitamin. For Vitamin B complex as well, it is recommended being taken after lunch or dinner since the absorption would be more unstable and decrease when intake with empty stomach. Nevertheless, the reason we don't want to take the vitamins with empty stomach is because of the vitamins will be passed through the stomach very fast before your body is ready in best absorption condition, they already being excreted out. Hence with food inside our stomach, we could slow down the passing rate of the vitamin through the stomach and increase their absorption level in our body :)

Vitamin A
Vitamin A is common for visual heath but not everyone knows about its effects towards our skin health. When you have dried and scaly skin, probably you should intake more vitamin A. Vitamin A promotes proper repair and maintenance of the skin, giving you a clear skin complexion. In additional, Vitamin A usually used to treat acne problems in preventing the formation of comedone, healing the wounds and damages of skin.

Who needs to intake Vitamin A?
For women who are pregnant, people who always stay under polluted environment and in front of computer day and night. Vitamin A could help in eliminating the free radicals that causes the cell aging which acts as antioxidant substances, to protect your skin cells from the ravages of aging.

What kind of foods rich in Vitamin A?
Liver of animals, not to be kidding with you, the liver of animals are rich in Vitamin A, apart from that, the egg yolks, natural dairy product and butter contains Vitamin A as well. If you are vegetarian, then you can consider carrots, broccoli, pumpkins and etc.

Side effects if OVERDOSE?
Many people question about the side effects of over-dosage of Vitamins. Here I would recommend we should not take more than 0.7mg daily. This is only for adult dosage. If for children should have reduced to 0.4~0.5mg daily. In additional, Vitamin A would stay in our body longer if compare with water-soluble vitamins, thus, we are not recommending intake daily with large dosage. Medium will do :) It works even better with Vitamin D and Vitamin E.

Vitamin E
Other than Vitamin C, I think Vitamin E is another most well known essential vitamin that we need to maintain our skin health. Vitamin E is another antioxidant substances which could help us to slower down the aging process, increase wound healing and most importantly reducing marks and spots of acne scars. Many people apply vitamin E cream on their scars in order to minimize the pigmentation of the scare on skin. It could reduce the level of unsaturated fatty acid being dissociated, to protect the unsaturated fatty acid on the surface of the cell being attacked by free radicals, maintaining the completeness of the cell at the same time improve the regenerating process of the cell by delaying the aging process.

Who needs to intake Vitamin E?
People who had injured and want to fasten the wound healing process. Furthermore, women who had facing menopause should take more vitamin E to prevent the aging of the cell, increase skin supple and reduce wrinkles. The pregnant lady could intake suitable amount of Vitamin E to reduce the pain during parturition.

What kind of foods rich in Vitamin E?
We could hardly get Vitamin E from animals and fruits since the vitamin E contents are lesser in these if compare to vegetables. We could find it abundant in olives, sunflower seeds, almonds, wheat germ and peanuts.

Side effects if OVERDOSE?
There are no any side effects in overdose of vitamin E. The only concern issue is the over consumption of vitamin E might deplete the content amount of vitamin A. The recommend daily dosage for adult would be around 12-21 mg.

Vitamin C
Vitamin C has been known for decades to play a crucial role in improving the human body immune system and could find broadly in vegetables and fruits. It helps in regulation of the structural protein collagen, which is the main constituent of the skin. Vitamin C work best with collagen, which helps in suppressing the pigmentation process of our skin. I would recommend intake with L-glutathione as well since it is one of the best nutrient which is working good in whitening and de-pigmentation of skin. Not to mention, Vitamin C can dissociate the substances accumulating in our body at the same time increase our recovery rate from tiredness.

Who needs to intake Vitamin C?
People who lack of supple on their skin condition, who are losing their weight. People losing weight will cause the looseness of skin and should take vitamin C immediately to improve the regenerate of collagen under the skin and maintain the elasticity. When you feel your skin lack of radiant, supple and elasticity, time to take vitamin C for backup preparation.

What kind of foods rich in Vitamin C?
Lemon, orange, grape, peanut, corns, watermelon and etc. We are blessed that vitamin C can be found in many fruits and vegetables that could be easily found everywhere.

Side effects if OVERDOSE?
So far there is no other side effect in taking vitamin C since it would not be able to stay more than 4 hours in our human body. That's why we need to intake twice daily for the supplement. Vitamin C is water-soluble vitamin and it could be easily being excreted out of our body. We need to balance our daily nutrients intake to bring out the most well effect of Vitamin C, or else it would be a waste. We should not apply any vitamin C cream towards our skin directly because once vitamin C contact with UV, it will cause the opposite effect ( skin turn even darker).

STAY HEALTHY
:)
